Shannon Briggs Shows Off Boxing Skills, Eyes 2020 Return

Former two-time world heavyweight boxing champ Shannon Briggs is eyeing a return in 2020.

The boxing world can still remember how Briggs used to dominate the heavyweight division several years ago. And now, ahead of the Ruiz vs. Joshua rematch, the former heavyweight champ has stated that if he will be given ample time to get in shape, he will make a comeback in 2020.

In a brief talk with TMZ Sports, Briggs gave a simple yet deep thought about the upcoming rematch between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr.

According to Briggs, it’s too early to predict but he wants to look both Joshua and Ruiz in the eyes to tell who’s got the edge.

“I wanna look the guys in the eyes and see who got the edge,” Briggs said.

But more importantly, Briggs all of a sudden showed off some shadow boxing stunt in front of TMZ and said that he wants to make a return in 2020.

“I think if they give me a shot in 2020, they’re gonna see who the real champ is,” Briggs exclaimed…
