Goodwill has been in San Diego since 1930 making a difference when it comes to the employment and training of people with disabilities and other barriers. In fact, today Goodwill employs nearly 1,400 people in San Diego and 48% of their workforce is a person with a disability or other barrier. Goodwill turns our community's donations of clothing and household goods into jobs and job training for any and all San Diegans looking for work. They also offer free workshops that help the job seeker develop their skills; even if you are employed these new skills can help you prepare for a promotion or that next job.

The purpose of the Goodwill Game of the Week is to let our high schoolers know about donating and when can happen when we donate things we no longer need. These sellable items can benefit others and be kept out of the landfill.
